Apply
Waitlist is open!
The initial round of signups has now closed, but the game’s waitlist is open. Fill out the application, and we’ll register your name!
The application is open from March 1, 2026 through March 22, 2026, at noon CST. After this, we will review, conduct safety screening, and let players know whether they have received a spot or have been waitlisted.
Slots will be allocated using a mix of lottery and casting, and it will not matter when you sign up. There is no first-come, first-served.
We expect safety screening to be done by March 29, and for acceptance and waitlist messages to go out no later than April 5th.
After the initial application period closes, we will keep the application form open for people to sign up for the waitlist.
The minimum age to participate will be 21 years old due to the nature of the game and the availability of alcohol on the premises.
For those assigned a spot, the initial non-refundable down payment will be due shortly after you are offered a place.
As part of the application process, we will ask you for your preferred groups. We’ve included a short description of the various cohorts and different Noctis Circles in the larp, and encourage you to review them before starting the application.

Safety screening approach
Thornbridge Academy uses a two-step process to support a safe and well-calibrated event. Below you can find the short version, whilst the longer one is available here.
Step 1 – Safety screening
Once signups close, you will receive a list of all applicants. You may contact us to share any serious safety concerns you have about others. This step uses the community’s knowledge to help us identify people with repeated patterns of harmful behaviour who should not attend larps. Examples include any assault, repeated boundary violations, or persistent disregard for safety systems.
We initially do not treat one-time incidents not included in the above, personal relationship history, or hearsay as safety concerns. All information you submit is kept confidential within the organizer group.
Step 2 – Player Calibration
After spots are assigned, we will send a calibration survey at a later date. Here, you can also list people you would prefer not to play closely with. These are not safety concerns, just personal preferences.
Based on this, we will avoid placing you in the same cohort and will do our best to avoid placing you in the same Noctis Circle.
